We are adding new warehouses for responsible product storage

Among other actions, our commitment to corporate sustainability has driven us to achieve ambitious challenges such as the calculation of our carbon footprint, circular economy actions and increased deployment of solar panels to support generation and use of clean, renewable energy. 
 
Under this sustainable strategy, we continue to work on actions to minimise the environmental impact of our daily industrial activity, both in our central facilities in Sax (Alicante) and in our production centres throughout Spain.
 
In line with this policy of corporate sustainability, we have recently increased the number of Polyol-Isocyanate tanks, incorporating two new containers for the storage of these particles, in addition to those already installed in 2007. 

With this expanded deployment of Poliol-Isothionate tanks, we’re achieving responsible use of waste — minimising the risks in its handling and storage — and safer discharges, with consequent reduction of CO2 emissions.

• Safer discharges. This is done via hoses between the storage facility and the tank containing the product.
• Reduced waste generation. We’re reducing our packaging waste, as well as our collection, distribution and management of packaging.
• CO2 reduction. This measure involves a reduction in CO2 emissions related to the unloading, transfer, loading and management of waste, estimated at 6.80 TnCO2.
