Community is part of who we are. We support initiatives that promote sport among young people, sponsor the Saxun cycling team in top national youth races, and organise the annual Saxun Villa de Sax Night Cross, now a major event in the Valencian Community. We also support other cultural and leisure initiatives, a commitment that connects us with others and gives real meaning to what we do.
At Saxun, we believe in the power of people to inspire and transform. Through initiatives such as Saxun Experiences, we connect with leading figures from sport, science, the arts or culture. One such highlight was our event with David Meca, who shared an inspiring message of perseverance with employees and young athletes. To mark the 1st Solidarity Week, Giménez Ganga hosted the “I Am Maasai, a Story to Tell” exhibition, a unique experience to discover Maasai culture up close. Guided by María Ruiz and the Maasai warrior Daniel Purrenkei, attendees experienced first-hand the life and values of this African community. A reflection of our commitment to diversity, awareness and shared learning.
During the 2nd Giménez Ganga Solidarity Week, we welcomed Dr. Teresa Salas, a leading researcher in the fight against ALS. Her lecture on the advances and challenges of scientific research gathered over one hundred attendees and reaffirmed our support for Fundela and other deserving causes. Throughout the week, an exhibition offered visitors a deeper insight into the reality of the disease and those who live with it, a reminder of the solidarity that defines our community.
