Saxun Contract in Oficinas magazine

Efforts are increasingly being made to promote energy efficiency in public buildings and urban public spaces in order to reduce energy consumption, minimise CO2 emissions, improve water quality and also make better use of rain water.

Saxun Contract in Oficinas magazine

Such activities are listed in methodologies such as of the RepublicMed project, assessed in the latest edition of Oficinas, where the next Saxun Contract collection also appeared. Projects such as RepublicMed take into account parameters such as microclimatic conditions and users’ thermal comfort, making predictions of energy consumption close to the real energy consumption figures obtained through other calculation tools.

Recommendations in these projects include thermo-regulation and increasing the power of air conditioning systems and improving building insulation, in order to achieve these energy savings values.

Here in lies the great importance of solar protection systems offered by Saxun and especially the fabrics of the new Saxun Contract collection, which help in achieving the perfect balance between the needs of efficient solar protection and creating unique environments. Our fabrics have a variety of characteristics, are available in a range of timeless colours and have excellent strength and stability properties.

There are four collections with different degrees of openness available in the same colour that can be used to create a specific solar protection plan in a building, taking into account the different orientations of the façades, the visibility needed for the types of spaces where they are installed as well as aesthetic and privacy requirements.
