Night Cross Giménez Ganga

The 6th Giménez Ganga Night Cross Villa de Sax race will take place on Saturday 24 January. This event is a benchmark for the sport.

Night Cross Giménez Ganga

The approximately eight-kilometre race will start in calle Pascual Carrión (Parque de los Príncipes) at 7 pm and end in the Plaza Cervantes.

This is the sixth edition of an event that attracts more and more participants every year. The success of this race lies in the unbeatable setting in which it takes place.

The race runs through some of the most symbolic areas of Sax. What's more, it takes place on dates close to the Moors and Christians festivals in honour of St Blas, when the town of Sax is in the throes of preparing for the fun. These preparations can be seen streets of the old town through which the race is run, where numerous onlookers spending time in festival meeting places spur the competitors on.

This year there will be special prizes for the biggest club and for the most veteran runners. This year, for the first time, there will be chance to help others by donating non-perishable foodstuffs, baby and children's food. You can give whatever you like and as much as you like.

You can enrol for the race from 19 January at 13.30.
We hope to see you at the Cross Nocturno Giménez Ganga.
