One of the owner’s demands was to have a house where are the rooms are connected and where daily life takes place outdoors, around the large swimming pool and sundeck.
The porch forms a continuum, with differentiated areas that are always looking towards the outside, without losing their connection with the interior, and making the most of every centimetre.
It has a living-dining room, recreation area, reading area and kitchen, all semi-covered rooms, protected from the outside thanks to the installation of four panels of AZUR Folding Glass Curtains, each with eight leaves of glass.
A design to allow inhabitants to enjoy the outdoors at all times, without losing the functionality necessary for all homes.
The glass leaves are installed from floor to ceiling, with the bottom profile recessed, which provides greater visibility, brightness and transparency, to maintain at all times the feeling of living in an outdoor space, without sacrificing the comfort and well-being of an indoor room. A sensation that is achieved thanks to the protection of such a lightweight enclosure as our Glass Curtains.
Its hinged and folding leaves provide the versatility needed for those special spaces. By simply opening or closing the glass leaves, the owners of this villa can change its use entirely, depending on their needs in the moment.
With this subtle installation, they achieve the comfort and wellbeing that is expected of an enclosed space, while continuing to live in harmony with the outdoors.
