On Friday, November 22nd, we were delighted to welcome David Meca, Long-Distance Swimming World Champion and one of the best-known faces of the sport at a national level, to the central facilities of Sax.
In an auditorium created exclusively for the occasion, the swimmer, who has already retired from high-level professional competition, told the audience a story of overcoming adversity that ends with a very clear conclusion: the mental factor is key when facing the great challenges of life.
The event left us with highly emotive images, such as those of dozens of children belonging to different swimming clubs in the region who were able to meet live one of their heroes.
This meeting will not be the last of its kind organised by the company, since we intend to host other talks by prominent personalities from the world of arts, science, sports or culture in the coming years under the banner ‘Experiencias Saxun’.
