Saxun welcomes ADACEA Alicante to help people with acquired brain injury find employment

This networking event, organised with the support of the Giménez Ganga Foundation, has given members of ADACEA Alicante an insight into Saxun’s working environment, reinforcing a shared commitment to inclusion, support and the creation of real opportunities.

At Saxun, we recently welcomed a group of members from ADACEA Alicante, the Association for Acquired Brain Injury in the Province of Alicante. The aim of the visit was to give them an insight into our company, our working environment and the opportunities offered by our work placement programme.

A day to get to know Saxun from the inside

During the visit, they were able to take a close look at our facilities and find out how Saxun operates on a day-to-day basis.

A visit that gave us the opportunity to listen, engage and continue learning about the importance of creating more open, accessible and inclusive working environments, where everyone can feel valued and play an active part in a shared endeavour.

A collaboration initiated by the Giménez Ganga Foundation

This event has been organised by the Giménez Ganga Foundation, which works with ADACEA Alicante on projects aimed at social and labour market integration and support for people with acquired brain injury.

The Foundation provides resources and materials to improve the employability of people with brain injuries through pre-employment workshops, which focus on independence, job readiness and skills development to help them integrate into the workplace.

Another objective shared by both organisations is to raise awareness of and promote talent without barriers, encouraging independence and active participation among people affected by brain injury.

Commitment to inclusion and the community

This visit is part of Saxun’s commitment to people and to the community around us. We believe that being part of society also means getting involved in it, standing alongside those who drive change, and doing our bit to create real opportunities.

At Saxun, we see spaces as more than just physical locations. They are also environments for connection, learning and growth. That is why working towards spaces that are more people-centred, accessible and inclusive is part of our vision for the future.
