And so we bid farewell to 2019, a year that will always remain in our hearts

On 20 December, we held the closing ceremony for a year we will never forget at our premises.

A very special 2019, in which we celebrated 60 years of business, industrial and human achievement; 60 years of growing together, sharing experiences and building a world that only makes sense thanks to the people who are part of it.

The event began with the screening of a video summarising the year, a piece that posed a question as simple as it was moving: how can we measure everything we experienced in 2019? The answer lay not in figures, but in moments – in activities, get-togethers, celebrations, hugs, memories and in that huge group photo that will stay with us forever.

Pedro Giménez, manager of Giménez Ganga, sought to put that shared sentiment into words: “A year full of activities is drawing to a close, during which we have enjoyed and shared many emotions and a sense of camaraderie.”

He also wanted to emphasise that “this 60th anniversary will remain in our hearts and our memories”, before looking to the future with the same enthusiasm with which it all began: “We hope to be here for at least another 60 years.”

The day also featured a particularly moving moment with the tribute to Félix Herrero, a colleague who is retiring after more than 40 years working alongside us. Félix is, and will continue to be, a very important part of our history: an example of hard work, commitment and camaraderie for all the generations who have worked alongside him.

To bring the event to a close, the company wished all its staff a Merry Christmas with a heart-warming advert, marking the end of 12 months of excitement and 52 weeks of friendship.

The day drew to a close with a toast amongst all the staff. A toast to bid farewell to the year, to give thanks for everything we have experienced, and to renew the commitment that will continue to guide us in 2020: to keep moving forward, growing, investing in talent and improving our solutions every day.

Thank you all for being part of 2019. Thank you for being part of the Giménez Ganga family and for celebrating these 60 years of our journey together. Because everything we have built so far drives us to keep looking ahead, with the same energy, the same humility and the same desire to improve people’s living spaces.
