At Saxun, we develop solar protection solutions that meet the demands of new residential architecture: open, connected spaces filled with light, where well-being is the true protagonist.
The range expands with Wind Screen Compact, a comprehensive sun protection system with ZIP guidance, designed for integration into aluminium or PVC frames. A solution that is incorporated from inside the room, respecting the aesthetics of the project and offering a clean, minimalist finish.

In this residential project, the Wind Screen Compact system has been installed in an interior courtyard connecting two distinct rooms. The aim: to create a well-maintained, accessible and functional recreational area, where each space retains its identity but remains protected at all times.
Thanks to the wide variety of finishes, technical fabrics and customisation options, the system can be adapted to the specific needs of each home. In this case, Soltis 96 fabric in beige tones was chosen.

The ZIP system ensures that the fabric is perfectly secured in the guides, preventing gaps at the sides and providing sun protection without leaks. This translates into greater thermal comfort inside, efficient control of natural light, more privacy between rooms, wind resistance and durability of the system.
In addition, its double-walled, thermally insulated joinery box acts as an external barrier, optimising climate control and improving the energy efficiency of the home. A solution that helps reduce energy demand and create more sustainable homes.

Its design as a carpentry system optimises installation and simplifies maintenance, adding value both for professionals and for those who inhabit the space.
This system is particularly suitable for residential renovation projects, such as these homes located in the historic centre of the town. Respectful integration with the urban context allows the architectural essence to be preserved, while incorporating modern solutions for solar protection and energy efficiency.
