The sun is our ally. To take advantage of its rays in a safe and protected way, we design versatile and functional solar control solutions capable of embellishing the most remarkable projects, as is the case of this residential home, located in Lorca (Murcia), one of the sunniest areas of Spain.
An example of sustainable architecture, in which the architect has applied solutions capable of controlling the incidence of the sun dynamically, to gain in comfort and well-being.
The central area of the residence is a hybrid space in which to combine the living room, kitchen and rest area, where natural light enters, thanks to the large windows and the double-height construction.
To cover and protect this large and dynamic area, five motorised CLS roller blinds with customised measurements of 4.32x2.19 m have been installed. A Screen 5900 White fabric with a 3% opening has been used.
A choice that allows the room to be shaded without losing luminosity, by simply sliding the blinds. This fabric stands out for its mechanical performance and dimensional stability, capable of withstanding high outdoor temperatures.
Similarly, these roller blinds exclusively integrate the CLS accessories, of great aesthetic value, which allow for greater modularity and adaptation of the product to all types of architecture. The CLS system, developed in different shapes and models, greatly facilitates and simplifies installation for the professional, with a simple and clean result.
These same blinds have been used in other intermediate spaces in the house, such as corridor areas, thus unifying and protecting the entire environment. In the case of private rooms, such as bedrooms, vertical curtains have been chosen, made with the same fabric, opening and shade, with 127 mm slats.
In these same private rooms, protection is increased with the traditional roller shutter. Specifically, a Eurostand 155 compact box model in PVC has been chosen, accompanied by an Alugix-42 slat, in RAL 7016, which combines with the rest of the metal carpentry of the house.
A compact that integrates perfectly into this architectural project thanks to its geometric structure, while guaranteeing the best thermal and sound conditions. On the other hand, the Alugix-42 profiled aluminium slat provides maximum performance and optimum insulation for this type of project, which combines beauty and efficiency to create more sustainable spaces.
To protect the exterior of this sunny villa we have chosen the sun protection of the renewed Besta Parasol, model XL, with square geometry, in Perla fabric and profiles in a blacco shade, specifically 9016 textured. The base is with square tiles, in the same textured 9016 shade. This model is the ideal solution for those looking for ample sun protection and resistance. Due to its imposing size, it is capable of generating large areas of shade by simply unfolding it.

Technical curtains are a simple and very effective solution to reduce the thermal transmittance between indoors and outdoors.
