The meeting, which was entitled Saxun & Berasategui Talks: Recovering the Hotel Industry from the Terraces, was also attended by such notable speakers as the architect Marina Giménez, the locksmith sector businessman José Candela and Rafael Blanquer, the General Manager of Port Hotels.
During the hour-long meeting, speakers and attendees discussed the future prospects of the HoReCa sector at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic has left thousands of restaurateurs across Spain in a complicated situation.
Thanks to a series of very interesting reflections, some highly useful conclusions were drawn as to how to manage crisis situations, and the solutions that can be provided from an architectural point of view.
Naturally, some of Saxun’s products played a prominent role in this given their usefulness in protecting terraces, with the Bioclimatic Pergola being the star product that reinforced a unanimous argument: it’s time to occupy outdoor spaces 365 days a year.
In the words of Martín Berasategui, “every time I visit Giménez Ganga I feel at home. I love sharing these little moments with colleagues as we mutually inject each other with energy. I am sure I will repeat the experience”.
An experience that has surely helped those attending to look upon a future that’s more uncertain than ever with optimism.
An experience to remember for a lifetime.
